The Costa Rican Foundation for Sustainable Development, also known as ENTEBBE in honor of its headquarters located in the Ochomogo mountains, was established in Costa Rica by former President José María Figueres Olsen and former First Lady Josette Altmann Borbón, with the vision of creating a more equitable and sustainable world, centered on education, leadership, sustainability, and the protection of natural resources, especially the oceans. Its name evokes a spirit of international cooperation and global sustainability.
